JR Graphic Designer — January ‘20 - ‘21
Graphic Designer — January ‘21 - PresentI work for a department within GUESS known as Brand Partnerships. We’re a small team composed of 4 Product Designers, 3 Coordinators, and 3 Brand Designers. We report to Nicolai Marciano, the son of the founder of mainline GUESS. We operate like a design agency, and work on the following sub brands of GUESS: GUESS JEANS (launching June ‘24), GUESS Originals, and GUESS U.S.A. All of which were conceived by Nicolai, and executed + brought to life by us.
We’re an unconventional, scrappy little team that believes in progress over process, but we’re not to be underestimated. We work hard (like, really really hard), and we have a lot of fun. Things rarely go as planned but the outcome never suffers.
My role varies day to day, week to week, month to month depending on the needs of the brands. For example: last month, I built out the GUESS JEANS website from scratch (found here) while juggling the environmental + print collateral for a week long immersive experience we hosted in Florence, Italy (snippet found here). This month, I’m focusing on building out the identities for our Coachella ‘24 brand activations/events.Long story short, my current role touches on all aspects of design. From the creative direction stage to the build out & execution stages. Some examples:
UI/UX
Brand Bibles
Print Pieces
Environmental Design/Events
Marketing (OOH, Social, Email, etc)
Presentation Design
Set Design

I was originally brought on at Noise 13 in the Fall of 2019 as a Graphic Design Intern with a 3 month, full time contract. Said contract ended up getting extended 2 times and all in all, I spent nearly a year at Noise 13 before returning to Academy of Art University to finish my final year.
I spent most of my time at Noise 13 building out the identity for Invisible Talks, a two day design conference/forum held yearly in San Francisco. Some of the key attendees:

I reported to the manager of the Creative Brand team, within the greater Marketing Communications team. I partnered with designers, producers, copywriters and web designers to implement the Sonos brand across digital, packaging, print, etc.
